Oil on Board, 9.25 x 13.25 inches
This beautiful wood is part of an ancient woodland called Bedford
Purlieus in Cambridgeshire. Beech trees are beautiful at any time of
year, but in Spring, their acid green leaves are just an emblem of the
season. With a few Bluebells on the woodland floor, a painting subject
is made.
