Injury and the RSMA Exhibition

About time I posted an up-date : Having torn my right shoulder muscle and damaged the thoracic nerves back in June, painting action has been somewhat curtailed lately. I've been reliably informed that my injury will take up to 12 months to get better, so I may be forced into producing abstract art (that'll be the day!)I'm very pleased to have got 5 marine paintings accepted for the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA) Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. The 5 paintings can be viewed on the 'Painting/Galleries' page on my website, but here they are anyway - the first 3 are Oils and the last 2 are Pastels - click on any one for a full-screen version :

Thanks for looking and to anyone who has had a look at the Iona house Gallery's Cotswold themed exhibition, in which I have 19 new paintings, thank you and I hope you enjoyed seeing my new work.

I shall be demonstrating all four days at Patchings Arts Festival this week from Thursday - Sunday, 10th - 13th June. Please stop by at my demonstration space and say hello and see how it's done ! I shall have 30 or so paintings on display, too.

I was hoping to have my first Instructional DVDs ready for Patchings, but alas, the production process is far more time consuming than I imagined and they will be a little while yet, but I shall be taking orders for anyone interested ! Hope to see you there !
